Homework for the 8th of January



1. Pick a vertebrate animal at risk of extinction (endagered) on any of these websites:

2. Look for information about you animal ( you have to add a post with the sources of information:links of the websites you are taking the information from, etc).

    1. Type of vertebrate.
    2. Habitat.
    3. Skin.
    4. Breathing.
    5. Body temperature.
    6. Enemies.
    7. Food it likes.
    8. Defence methods.
    9. Reproduction.
    11. How many individuals are left? Where do they live?
    12. Why is it at risk of extinction?
    13. Why should we protect it?
     14. What makes your animal special?

3. Make a poster with http://padlet.com/. Appart from the information you have looked for, you can add pictures and videos.

  • Build a wall
  • Modify wall
    • Wall paper.
    • Privacy.
      • “Hidden Link: Can Write”.
    • Address: “pick a wallwisher.com address”. You have to give a name to your animal and write it in the white box (lower case letter and no spaces or tildes).
    • You: “Log in or sign up and claim this wall”. You need an email and a password.
  • Double click to add a postit.
    • Left click and move it.
    • Resize it.
    • Click the pencil to edit it.
    • Write a text. Mark the text to change some characteristics of the text (bold, italic,...).
    • Add the URL of an image or a video.
    • Upload an image.
